Last night I wanted to cook something with bacon. That isn’t a normal thing I want to eat, but I couldn’t think of cooking anything else. I then wanted to make something with noodles since I have a ton of boxes in my pantry. While at the store I grabbed mushrooms, red bell pepper, onion, and Alfredo sauce.
I threw it all together and it came out great! It was so delicious I forgot to take a picture. Plus, I ate it for lunch today and it was still scrumptious.
I love the Food Network, I could watch it for hours! Tonight I saw that the Food Network Star was on and I decided to tune in. As I was watching I realized I know one of the contestants, Stacey, who used to be one of my clients when I worked in advertising. Stacey was always great to work with and extremely friendly.
Not too long ago her restaurant (Trails Eatery) was featured on Restaurant Impossible. It was one episode where the restaurant needed help, but not because the food was bad or the decor was disgusting, they just got over their heads with finances and plus they weren’t open for dinner. It was the most positive episode I had seen from the series. I then went to visit to see the revamped restaurant and Stacey was excited to see me! The restaurant looked amazing, the dinner menu was delicious and it was great to see my old client.
Now I am even more thrilled for her to be a contestant on the Food Network Star! She has the best personality for the show, plus perfect to have her own show, and she is one of those people that deserves this amazing opportunity.
With all that said, they have a fan poll set up online where Stacey is currently in third. She should be in first! I ask everyone to support her and vote! Check out the show and let’s keep our fingers crossed that she wins!
