Today was the long awaited falafel day! Sad news to report is that I give it a thumbs down.
Way to much lettuce…way too much watered down “yogurt sauce”…plus a cheaply made pita that couldn’t hold any contents and not enough focus on the main event of FALAFEL.
The only thing that kept my attention and my “hangry” tummy satisfied was the shared order of fries and the pickle slice.
I may give New York on Rye food truck one more try, but right now is not the time to talk about it.
Point Loma Seafoods crab sandwich, French fries and a diet Pepsi. Holla!
I don’t mind searching for parking, standing in lines, but having everyone’s number called but mine is a little ridiculous.
“Number 89! Number 90!….Number 93!” Oh yeah I’m number 94, I’m next! “Number 95! Number 1!” WTF?!? And this went on for twenty minutes!
Finally we got our food and thought the hangry session would finally end. But to top it off they gave my mother in law the wrong salad. Our group was too hungry to even bother.
Our group got quite quick and devoured our meal and we left at least with smirks on our faces.
That crab sandwich continues to be simple and delicious.
