The other day I had Ryan sitting across the table from me with complete plate envy! We had walked down to our favorite local spot, McGregor’s Grill and Ale House. I was thinking I was going to get some tacos or something, but they had some special Octoberfest menu items. I got a Bratwurst sandwich served on a soft Vienna roll with Sauerkraut and Swiss cheese. It also came with mustard and super crispy pickle slices. Wow this was good! I was also entertained when I would put it back down on my plate and I was covered in poppy seeds, it reminded me of that book cover from Oprah’s book club “A Million Little Pieces.”
McGregor’s continues to impress me more and more. I highly recommend heading down this this Mission Valley gem for a surprisingly delicious dinner and I also recommend sitting in Megan’s section, she rocks!
